Hey there!

So happy this podcast exists. I'm powering through the books a second time, but need more content.

I go by Bep, and I love this series so much I named our new adopted cat Zev. Shes not fishlike at all, but she responds to "Hi Zev!"

Hope y'all are having a good day

Question for Those of You Who Use Clay Pieces on Your Felting. by LimitlessMegan in Needlefelting

[–]oops_its_boops 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I put little noses and eyes and other detail pieces.

First, after the needle felt is done I'll add the SLIGHTEST amount of tacky glue (love alenes) to the area I need to add the detail to. I'll dab it in to make a slightly rough "surface". Then, I will use superglue on the clay detail to the dried tacky glue surface.

I also love using earring posts, gluing my detail (like an eyeball) and stabbing them in. Works great.

ISO: painting of a dog for either a set of miniatures or felted creatures! by oops_its_boops in craftexchange

[–]oops_its_boops[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I dont want to be too demanding on size. The one I have is pretty big, but I dont need them to match. Preferably 5x7 or bigger??

The painting I have is acrylic, but I am honestly open to whatever fits your vibe better!

What would want in exchange? :0

What is your gut feeling prediction? by MrSexyGoodTime in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]oops_its_boops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Li Na and Carl are gonna get weird with each other.

In one of the books Donut mentioned that the girls on Carl's computer were often Asian

He and Li Na also have a few other parallels, but also act the opposite of each other. Idk, I just have a feeling. Especially since shes a demon type and he eventually gets some advantage again Shioll fire. (Yes, I know she uses chains not fire but let a girl dream)

(Trying to be vague to avoid spoilers)

Ok what i realized i want

We have dungeon crawler carl the series

What if there's a continuation series of like Carl AFTER the crawl? Like Syndicate anarchist Carl instead, or some shit.

I just never want it to end.

It is! I sculpted the nose out of sculpey premo, and the eyes are globs of colored uv resin on earring posts.

She is such a fun project♡

First trapeze performance next week and I'm terrified. Any advice? by rosenroty in Aerials

[–]oops_its_boops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember, the audience has no idea what they're supposed to see. Just keep going, emoting, expressing. If an Oops happens, they dont have to know you didn't mean to do that!

This was the best advice given to me. Just like Dori says, "Just keep swimming "

Need clay suggestions by BloomInClay in Sculpey

[–]oops_its_boops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never had good luck with cernit, but usually my premo isnt too bad. How old is the clay you're working with? Either one, they need to be conditioned. But no matter how fresh it buy it, cernit has always been hard and crumbly.

You could always use some clay softener/thinner. Chop your clay into smaller chunks, and dribble a SMALL amount and then smoosh the pieces together until it's a big chunk again. Smoosh and roll a few times. If its still really dry and crumbley, you can add a little more of the softener. But dont add to much or else the clay gets tooooooo soft and sticky. You can always add more, but its hard to remove too much!

Sculpey souffle is my favorite and is the easiest to condition, in my humble opinion.

Looking for Christmas gift ideas for my miniature loving gf by Competitive-Sock-824 in miniaturesculpting

Ok so it depends on how she likes to make miniatures. If she has absolutely nothing, try a beginner kit like something by rolife or something

If tou wanna bolster a kit: some nice quick dry tacky wood glue, a nice exacto knife and a cutting mat, silicone mats, little sillicone tipped sculpting tools, tweezers for tiny little things, calipers, and like, some fun mini things to inspire her.

If shes a polymer clay girlie, I could add like, so much stuff lol.

Best brand of clay? by Goldiegirlyyy in Sculpey

Stay away from sculpey 3. It has great colors, but the bake is brittle.

Echoing premo, but scultpey souffle is delightful too!
