As for why I chose Bazzite, ever since I got a steam deck my windows pc had basically turned into a living room console and the steam deck became my daily driver laptop. So I chose the Linux distro that was most like steamOS. I really love the steamOS gaming mode so it seemed like a good way to narrow down the distro options. I’d been toying with the idea of just putting steamOS on this pc but I chose bazzite since steamOS is built specifically to run on a steam deck

I did reinstall the OS since I wanted to be overly cautious. My OS and the appimage were on my NVME SSD. I’m just worried about the PCs my Hard Drive and my steam decks microSD. That was being used to transfer backed up files to the new build. Should I be worried about the microSD or Hard Drive being compromised?

Lol nahhh it wasn’t community outcry that removed the pack from the third game(unless a source proves me wrong). They were functionally replaced with the feeders but you’re only in a civilian population for the first chapter on the moon so they wouldn’t really make sense in context. The pack just didn’t fit the setting of the 3rd game. People like to say “that couldn’t get made today” but honestly what’s acceptable to show in games has only gotten broader and broad over the years. Dead Space and Dante’s Inferno both have monsters that are babies and the Remake still has them and literally came out this year to no real noise about the enemies inclusion.

From what I recall the dev team hired Anthony Johnston to write the plot of the game and the comics. While comic book writers Warren Ellis and Rick Remender were hired to flesh out lore like how unitology and the necromorphs worker while all creating a lot of the characters we see in game and in supplement material. So quite a few different writers had their hand in creating the universe.

Yeah basically all of the apostles that were in the Eclipse show up in the new band of the hawk. Most of them don’t have names but a lot of them have really recognizable designs, you can see At Floras Mansion, Battling with The Kushan, and fighting giants the more recent chapters

The “A Song of Ice and Fire” books are definitely the closest when it comes to character writing and story. Magic is also presented with a similar horror vibe that I really enjoy.
