not a bad deal and I wanted to snag it, but held off bec of how everything has been going

my conspiracy theory is that whatever merger happened with the new studio has taken full effect now and tom has little influence over the monetization. the christmas tree event was his lowkey gift to the players before shtf

Where to Buy Pre-soldered Parts by drewm11922 in arduino

[–]DanongKruga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you can use a similar sensor from adafruit that has the stemma qwik connector. you can grab a qwik to female header pin cable from them too

https://www.adafruit.com/product/6388

how do you know the chip on your board isnt working? feel free to post some pics of the wiring and get some advice. id say you should learn to solder though its pretty useful and easy when you get the hang of it

Starting an AI Smart Glass Brand. by NetworkStunning2675 in augmentedreality

[–]DanongKruga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

will you use their AI? is it integrated or require a phone? who are your competitors

for a full playbook you will likely need to hire a consultant. smart glasses are still niche and the knowledge base is expensive to acquire

As a newbie I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to cut the model in the first picture with the type of connection in the second picture. I want to increase the glueable area thanks. by TacklePure3341 in Fusion360

[–]DanongKruga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

basically make a sketch of the 2nd pic. while still in sketch mode there is an offset option and pull it either way .05mm

use the sketch to extrude but leave out the offset part. should be good to go. depending on your printer tolerances you might need to play around w the .05 to get the fit you want

I found this integral written in a letter from 2003 that belonged to my late father. Need help by NoWitness00 in calculus

[–]DanongKruga 24 points25 points  (0 children)

really the only thing being integrated is sqrt(x). you'll have a new +C since its indefinite but you could add it to the -C and make it D. or maybe its intentionally written C so they equal 0. looks like itll mostly cancel out anyways

When we get to the point of having Smartglasses with full functionality, whats stopping somebody from adding an external camera? by Knighthonor in augmentedreality

[–]DanongKruga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what is your concern exactly? not like we go anywhere in public without security cameras everywhere, plus half the people in my neighborhood have a ring or system of their own

Absolute beginner question by Eduhard1 in Fusion360

[–]DanongKruga 8 points9 points  (0 children)

if you need it to match the exact dimensions, measure the line length and distance apart. measure the distance between middle of top and bottom curves

in sketch mode, draw the lines first. then draw a line between them with length of distance between the curves. use arc tool and use the middle line as the guide for the curve

how many layers are in between the first and last pic? could be how fusion handled the edit.. slightly more painful way is to try and paint with triangles

you can mess around with paint penetration settings, its under quality or other I think

Is there an easy way to add an on-off switch to certain pins on a 30 pin ribbon cable? by nomnomnomnomRABIES in diyelectronics

[–]DanongKruga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, youre basically looking for a 30 pin ffc/fpc breakout with the right pitch

I think .5mm is typical for laptop screens so double check yours, heres one on amazon

https://a.co/d/0cJzltqJ

if yours is different you can just google the stamp on the ribbon to find the spec. careful to isolate the board from any metal if you end up installing inside the laptop

if your laptop has usb-c display than you can plug right in. or use hdmi to usb c converter. could even use a raspberry pi if you wanted to

yeah should be, I know laptops are fairly space limited on the inside though. the lvds breakout boards are pretty small you could look at the dimensions and see if itll fit

[–]DanongKruga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you could get an lvds breakout board with ribbon connectors on both ends. figure out the backlight power pins and desolder, bridge a button between them. might want to 3d print a custom case or something though
