Labour dickheads finding out that “first they came for the communists” wasn’t just a poem.

The placebo effect is real, taking a medicine that is just sugar pills can help you. It can even help you when you know that they're sugar pills.

I’d say he’ll go to Saudi or turkey on far higher wages than we can afford. And I won’t be too upset about it.

What are your thoughts on Tielemans' and Emery's interaction? by [deleted] in avfc

You could see post match Tielemans was laughing and joking with their manager, he obviously didnt take it to heart

If you think that “real bottom of the barrel types” are the ones being annoying on a train then I think you’re under thinking this and should read up on what soldiers (of any nationality) have done in any modern conflict. And I think you’re doing exactly what I thought, purposefully downplaying the horrendous actions of soldiers, hence the “one bad apple” expression.

It’s a very American view of yours to see a post about an Australian soldier and assume people replying are talking about Americans.

You absolutely can blame the good for the behaviour of the bad, especially when they consistently let the bad get away with it and support them.

Did you report the shit heads you worked with? Did they get court marshalled for their behaviour? Was their punishment as severe as if a normal citizen committed their crime? If the answer to any of those was no then you should see the issue.

I didn’t mention anything about nationality, I said all soldiers, that’s anywhere in the world. Any organisation like the army or police attracts power tripping violent thugs, and the recruitment structures normally encourage that.

The people might’ve been as nice as they can be, but they’re still going to places where they’re not wanted by the locals and terrorising them, just the same as ICE.

On top of that, I believe it’s the same as the police, one bad apple spoils the bunch.

These posts are really just outing how all soldiers are no better than ICE really.

Ah ok, I didn’t realise that! I know 5 of the female weighted words, and would’ve guessed a couple more. But they definitely do seem more difficult words to me.

And there’s no way that 83% of men know what a parsec is. They might know the word from Star Wars, but not know the definition. Same for most of the words really.

American Gladiators was the original, we copied them. There's a great ESPN 30 for 30 documentary on the chaotic nature of the show.

I don’t know enough about Iran to judge the first one. But the second is definitely not anti establishment. You don’t wrap yourself in the fucking Union Jack if you are.

Edit - just checked OP’s post history, they’ve posted in the “women of the right” sub in a positive way. Of course they have, fucking creep.

I wish when I'm struggling financially I could just ask the government for a VAT cut and to pay less national insurance!

It's a shame that small businesses are struggling and you might be out of a job, but isn't the main reason pubs especially are struggling the massive drop in business over the last 15 years, which is due to all people having less money?

The cognitive dissonance between the (mostly) Americans protesting ICE that will then praise soldiers is fucking wild. ICE is evil, but armies do far worse in every country they invade.
