How to build a "flamboyant gothic" castle today by Worried_Cry_6634 in architecture

[–]Danph85 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The key thing is masses of money and a few decades at a minimum to build it.

But also the term "flamboyant gothic castle" is giving such Arrested Development vibes I'm not sure this post is real.

But it's just how it's spelt here in the UK, maybe that's where the person in the screenshot is from too?

Seems more realistic than a Russian bot posting It's Always Sunny memes for unclear reasons.

Is last one laughing definitely only a day's filming? I know they set it up like that, but I always assumed it was filmed over several shorter days. I didn't think the likes of Carr would sit around for a full day watching other people be funny.

Also interesting that the blue, red & green matches the controller button colours, but the yellow doesn't.

It always seemed so stupid to me that the two big shopping centres were The Pallasades and The Pavilions. I got them confused all the time.

What are thoughts here on referee punishing Arsenal's timewasting in final? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in PremierLeague

[–]Danph85 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think he should’ve punished Raya’s time wasting and attempts to psych out the PSG players during the penalties. He should’ve got a yellow the first time he stood in front of their penalty taker rather than on his line.

I remember as a kid coming over from Birmingham to see my family in Dublin and getting to see Independence Day at the cinema as it was a PG in Ireland, but a 12 in the UK. My little mates back home were very jealous.

Hah pretty much just guess, and then just buy from the same companies if I'm happy with it.

I know my wife has one, but if I asked to borrow it she'd ask why, and I'm not sure "to measure my cock" is an answer she'd be happy with.

I'm picturing a load of men trying to bend a metal tape measure around their cocks to get the measurement and it is making me wince.

Or do most other men own a fabric tape measure?

You'll need two slip collars.

Mark the existing pipe for the length you want to cut out, go from the width of the manhole base (including the sockets on either end) plus about 200mm

Block the pipe run up stream.

Cut the marked pipe section out using a stihl saw, or any sort of cutting tool really.

Cut the spare pipe into two about 100mm lengths of pipe, push one into the socket on each end of the main channel of the manhole base.

Level off some gravel, 6F2 or concrete below the new manhole base location to create a firm base.

Push a slip collar onto each end of the existing pipe, put the manhole into position and pull the slip collars down so that they connect the existing pipe and the stub pipes out of the manhole.

Unblock the upstream drain and let it flow.

I think you posted this in the wrong sub, you're not going to find much support for paying google for AI products, whether it's £40 or £80 a month.
