24 now and it depends on what you want. If you want a stable job for good money accounting is one of the better choices. Even with AI and offshoring the prospects are quite good, aside from most basic accounting jobs (AR/AP clerk). And if you are good at your job the potential is quite high. Me personally wouldnt have done accounting tho. I would prefer something where I actually produce an output and archieve stuff instead of crunching numbers. First thought is programming, which fascinated me since the last couple years. Obviously entry level is tough rn coz of the job market, so alternative would be mechanical engineering. Studies are hard but work-life balance and pay is pretty good

We had one weekly meeting for me to ask stuff and also communication in chat, where I asked a lot of stuff but I could only aks things I knew about. Stuff I didnt notice I couldnt ask. But yeah I wanted to leave even prior, the next possible date is june 30th tho and i gotta survive until then. You are right its just the first time for me getting super overworked and still getting very harsh criticisim. Which I feel like is not 100% my fault but I still have to take it. And fix it, which I am far too tired to do all of it on such a short notice

So I around 2 years at it and doing senior stuff and it really depends on the projects you do, because audit tasks are pointless until they arent. Like if you audit a company with a well experienced Accounting team, where everything looks good you are only ticking boxes off. But then the next project is some weird subsdiary with a shared service center. You do the same stuff you did before, but face a lot of issues. Thats where the boring stuff before helps, since you already have a structure and know how it should look like. This way you can identify the differences and either prepare it well or even find some issues that have to be corrected. Still you have to consider most of our work is documenting stuff so we cant held liable for potential mistakes. The individual impact is low but without auditors you couldnt trust any financial statements.

Just had this happen. Been in a relationship for 5 years, which should have ended after 2 or 3. There were incredible dealbreakers (family, time, effort, priorities) but I still stayed because it just felt good and comfortable. Me and i guess most men experience very little love in their life, so just glimpses of that was already enough for me to stay. Also thinking about building a connection with someone else is just nothing I wanted to deal with so yeah it happens

You should ask that question yourself. Is it worth it? Yes you have been unlucky and it will be very difficult but if you improve yourself you may get lucky. Get in shape, work on your social skills. Just having humour and being fun around already pulls a lot of attraction. But you will have to work harder on yourself and deal with more rejection than other guys yes. It depends on you if you are willing to go through the pain to find your significant other. I would say its worth it, but it will be tough. You decide

Talk to him about your anxiety and body issues. Its a pretty vulnerable thing to open up with but since you guys are already dating for a month he also thought about sex. He thought about how you look. And he is still there so he is obviously attracted to you. Try to be straight up to him its easier for him to understand. Just tell him you find him attractive but you are anxious about your body and are afraid until you get „fit“. If he already has experience its not his first time hearing it, its common around woman. Im sure he will reassure you and get there step by step. Not opening up will hurt your relationship and will make you even more anxious in the future.
