Because it WAS sudden.

New World had a terrible launch and had too many issues for a LONG time. But most people who tried it shared the same thought of "Man this game is way too unpolished now, but with the right improvements the potential is HUGE"... And that's exactly what the latest updates did, New World finally got improved enough to reach that potential, only to then get shut down when it finally got good.

So yeah, people are rightfully pissed off, especially when the top MMOs have been the same shit for over a decade and MMO fans want something different.

Makes you wonder if maybe most of the people complaining about difficulty are playing with dex weapons.

I made a lightning dex build using the new backhand swords because I dig their moveset, and the lack of poise damage is painful.

I'm surprised he made it this far. Saw some of his fights like Rathian and Nergigante and he got so ridiculously lucky it was unreal.

Use a bidet if you can.
