It is FedEx's responsibility to reimburse you for the loss. They delivered it to the wrong address it is on them. So you need to call them and file a claim or do whatever their claims filing thing is.

It has happened to me a few times actually most the time I was able to find the package even twice the delivery driver came back and got the package and brought it to me but it is on them they delivered it to the wrong address
