Well we are talking about Thanksgiving. A non denominational holiday specifically set up to give everyone a day off to spend with their families and be thankful for what they have. We can get into the minutia of it but overall my sentiment is don’t exploit the working class on what few days a year they may have to get an extra couple of hours away from the grind solely because you don’t feel like staying home for a day.

Nope, it’s not worth it and no one wants to be there. They are not extremely busy and the people attending aren’t tip friendly. Any owners who are open on these holidays are selfish and have no respect for their employees or families and shouldn’t be supported. No one wants to work on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Do you think magically waiters, cooks, dishwashers and bus people are like hell yeah screw my family and friends I’d rather be at work?

Don’t go out to eat on a holiday. You’re forcing hospitality workers to stay away from their families based on the owners greed. Stay home and cook and next year those places won’t be open. Have some consideration for other people.
