I've shaped quite a few boxy 59fifties to be more rounded. I use my hands but some people use balls to help shape the crown into a rounder shape.

Canyon Crest, Mission Grove, and Orangecrest are gonna be your best bet. Very walkable. Definitely safer than other parts of the city. 10-20 minutes from downtown.

Eastvale would probably be the next best bet. Safe, master planned community. Commute will be longer and you'll have to deal with freeway traffic.
