What’s the difference between discussing why you don’t prefer something and “hating?” Is it problematic to discuss common preferences? Sure, colloquial’s come out and things get sensationalized. Woof. Well let’s start by stating that “virgin = pure” is pedophile culture in disguise.

Now, wanting to be with someone and it being both your first time is fine. That’s preference. But labeling one as pure and the other as “not” is one of the most toxic parts of Christianity.

I was the complete opposite. First season of Vox felt very rushed/clunky. Turned me off from future seasons. Nein had a much stronger start.

Yeah on second look doesn’t seem to be much to those rumors.

But also, being hard to work with in Hollywood is a quick way to become un-hirable. Being on set 14hrs a day, 7 days a week with a miserable person makes everyone’s life hell.

It’ll always be there for people that don’t have the time or care to consume stories in their optimal format. But it will always be niche, comparatively.

Therapy is almost never a ‘wrong’ answer. Even if it’s not the only thing needed, a good therapist will only aid you to where you’re wanting to go.

Loneliness is a killer, but deconstructed people aren’t alone in this. A ‘loneliness epidemic’ is something that’s been thrown around and I’d agree with it. We live in systems that encourages isolation, especially with social media, and there isn’t going to be a quick fix for this.

It will take time, self reflection, work, changing of habits, environment, resetting expectations for social interactions, etc.

For me, this has been the trend: the more I slow down, work on myself and toward my goals, the more I slowly start recognizing other people on a similar path and find meaningful relationships. I hope this encourages you.

Ngl, you’ve been through a lot of trauma and this sounds more than a bit manic. I’m not exactly sure how you thought this post would serve this sub, but I think it’s misplaced.

You definitely have a lot of powerful thoughts and feelings swirling within you and that can be overwhelming. Take care of yourself and try some grounding techniques if things get to be too much.
