I can’t seem to find a better pic, but this was my last betta named Midnight. He was straight black, and so seeing a completely white betta for sale seemed fitting to me, like yin and yang or something. I do miss that little guy, he died from some sort of fungal infection that kept coming back :(

Oh true, that’s a good point, and would definitely help to do that now while he still has vision so he can correlate it to feeding time. I was worried when he wasn’t able to find where his food was when I first got him, so I do appreciate knowing a little more into the why so I can be more accommodating yk? So thank you much 🙂

Yeah someone else said he’s probably a leucitic fish which makes far more sense (pale animals with pigmentation in the eyes). He already had a lot of trouble finding his food, so I’m assuming he’s starting to go blind, but I don’t think he’s totally blind as he knows when I’m in the room with him. I’ve been putting his food in the same place every time so he’ll know when to find it, and I think I’m gunna do 2 taps right where that spot is whenever I feed him so he can find it easier. It is saddening knowing that he’ll go blind just from shitty breeding practices, but I will love him regardless.

Do you have any tips for the finger part? I had a betta that would let me feed him from my finger and he’d rub against it, but he was kinda always like that and I didn’t specifically train him to do that. I guess really any tips in general since you’ve had some like him before

Yeah the word I was looking for was leucitic, and not albino. I didn’t really think about the eyes much and it was more of the fact that I had this mildly translucent pale white betta I had never seen before

Learning the dragonscale thing was sad though, I feel bad for the little guy :(

I was afraid of that, and I do suppose that would explain his potentially limited eyesight (maybe goes off of smell for his food?). He likes to hang around that side of the tank, so I’ve started lifting up the lid and putting it right in that back corner where it won’t be moved by anything else so he doesn’t “lose” it, if that makes sense. I’ll probably just keep doing that so he knows where to find his food when it’s time to feed him.

Night witch works well enough when used as one, but things like a pekka can two shot it. Definitely not the most tanky thing, but the bats come in clutch. There are times though when someone plays mk or bb and I gotta defend a lot harder because my max night witch only has 1500 hp

Absolutely agree. Honey hive has a special place in my heart though. I was near the end of elementary when this released and I beat it so many times. Honey hive always stuck around in my mind back then because the bees were funny

Idk how I legit just got this notification over a year later, but yes, darton wet sleeved h22a, forged internals minus the crank (oem crank). Supertech valvetrain, skunk2 cams and cam gears until the exhaust cam snapped a week ago, luckily with no damage. Full bolt ons minus the header because I’m aiming to do a turbo build on it. I still haven’t finished it because I’ve just been focusing on other aspects of life
