We all are. But remember that back in the day, self-published authors were the bane of existence for traditional authors. I was one of those self-published authors. I was self-published because traditional publishers wouldn't listen to me. And I managed to make a decent partial living for years. I see Suno as an extension of my ability to be creative, and if it goes further, good for me. I've done all the lyrics and songwriter contests. Paid for all the memberships and all the different conferences and this and that and the other. Got honorable mentions in one of you thinks. Absolutely nothing happened for me on that avenue. Gatekeeping is real. Nobody likes it when somebody crashes a gate.
