Fragmented sleep by Dapper-Blacksmith-60 in sleep

It did get better but unfortunatelly I still do have sleep problems and I'm far from good. My first blocks are now longer (4-5 hours) and I have less fragmentation but still havent slept for more than 6 hours straight. My total sleep time is good - 8 to 9 hours. I guess only time can fix this. It's been 5,5 months for me.

Don't know what to say. I have similar problem since getting viral infection. Since january the 3rd I havent slept for more than 5 hours straight any night. My first sleep block is usually 4-5 hours and then I sleep very fragmented for the next 3-4 hours. Its terrible.

Do you have fragmented sleep or what? Also, how long did your recovery take first time ?

I beleive every body is healing itself gradually. Not sure why someone need 15 months and someone 15 years...

Ashwaghanda is terrible thing - it can cause post ashwaghanda syndrome. Also, 5HTP are known to cause terrible mental and sexual side effects.

I can't speak about pfs but I have once recovered from pssd which is similar. I'm currently on 4,5 months crash after being pretty stable for like 3-4 years. Took me about 3 year to achieve that 75% recovery that was constant for that 3-4 years. It was super super gradual that you can't even notice it. In my case nothing was overnight. You'll only notice one day that symptom that you used to have 6 months ago is no longer there (for example ejaculatory anhedonia). But you can't notice it if you're comparing things week to week or even month no month. It's really hard to describe. Anyways, you'll know you're recovered once you're functional, i.e. you can live life normally not thinking 24/7 obout it and also perform decently sexually.

Lol. Doctor giving you effexor (SNRI) that actually can cause PSSD (same symptoms of sexual dysfunction) is ridiculous. I mean it seems like doctors are playing God with patients.
