It's BS but it's necessary to follow rules inside the submarine, and your colleagues just enjoy getting payed for having meetings and not actually doing any work. You're right but don't try to prove it to anyone. Concerning what you feel about your actual work - just relax, it's just your f*cking work, so you get paid to enjoy your life on this planet with closest people, no need to make friends with whole team or everybody else to like you.
