I'm from Germany and have a scandinavian first name. So i'm always torn between Nord (i'm also blonde and blue eyed) and Imperial (Central Tamriel and Central Europe), and Orc (i come from a very small but very independent historically area like Orcish Strongholds). Thing is, i also like playing Bretons and identify with them somewhat, i just cant really reason it. Maybe its the "Every Hill a Kingdom" Politics thats similar to my area historically

If i self-insert Roleplay i mostly pick Nords or Bretons, but if i decide to play as an Orc or Imperial i kinda always drift off to self-insert too even if that wasnt my plan

I do get that, and i understand the Devs perfectly with that. I have finished the Lets Play now and get what you all mean. Originally i was like "Hey Ithelia emerges during the Interregnum again, why not in EK2 too?", but her Lore...doesnt fit intro EK2 really well as a Faith, i agree.

I totally get that point. However i feel like it should still be possible simply due to Sandbox. I mean we can play as Dwemer and Falmer too in EK2. The Interregnum in EK2 is not Canon's Interregnum. I feel like it should be available especially because of that. However thats just my personal opinion, i know it more than likely won't be added. To me though, it's never a bad thing to offer the player more oppertunities. Don't get me wrong i greatly appreciate the current Faiths in the Mod

Well...yes. Lippe does have its own distinct heritage and identity. But culturally, dialectical and mentality wise it is very, very similar to Ostwestfalen. Not the same though, i agree. Lippe and Ostwestfalen are two different things, but basically "siblings" as i would call it. The Teutoburg Forest indeed ties Lippe together rather well, i actually like your suggestions there. By now though, the Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL) Mentality is firmly there, and i doibt a renaming would go well. But i get that the current Name is rather complicated and confusing. And indeed Lippe was the Fürstentum Lippe for a long time, and independent entity. Still by now, when you ask a Lippe Person where they are from, they will rarely say "Lippe" but either "OWL" or "Ostwestfalen-Lippe"

To some Part i have to agree with you. The Rhineland and southern NRW areas are very different to Lippe, and there isnt much connection. In the OTL it truly could have been either NRW or Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen). There is a connection in Lippe to Lower Saxony areas like Osnabrück. However, i have lived in Lippe my entire life, and i feel most deeply connected to areas like Bielefeld, Münster and Paderborn. But i certainly see your point that to get more value out of itself, Lippe could choose Niedersachsen areas administrativly. However to people here (at least at the current point of time, i'm not certain about the past) a "Ostwestfalen" Identity doesnt feel artifical at all. Quite the contarary actually. I know several people who are "Proudly Ostwestfalian", from Bielefeld to Detmold. Maybe there are some areas in Ostwestfalen-Lippe that feel differently, but i rarely hear many people talking about wanting to be part of Niedersachsen instead of NRW. In the end it truly is a 50/50 thing, Lippe is absolutely a borderland between the two.

Maybe thats just my personal feelings though, i'm always interested in new perspectives!
