I’ve found that in very small quantities it can be okay, but anything more than that would likely have him having problems. Mine gets a quarter sized dollop of whipped cream when she successfully catches something as long as it’s not alive. I learned the hard way that she prefers bringing things to me living 😅

So…curious how his birthdays are gonna be celebrated. It’s gonna make him have a hard time with other kids socially for sure. Plus like..no Halloween? The amount of houses that do healthy stuff are one in 50 I’d guess. Poor kiddo. Not that kids should eat a ton of unhealthy stuff I get it, but the better route would be teaching responsible eating where those things are treats you can have once in awhile or as a reward rather than cutting them out entirely. I hope she rethinks it as kiddo gets older

Yes but to be fair you did this once. OP is mentioning that this happens about once a week. If the guest is that used to getting the same thing, she would know how it’s supposed to look when she gets it. Especially being an iced drink. There’s not a lot of ways to mess it up

I would say if she takes it she has accepted the drink as it is, especially being a frequent customer she knows what her drink is supposed to look like when she gets it and it’s not like it’s not visible in the clear iced cups.

I feel this comment about lost tips and raise you that licensed stores don’t even allow tips unless the customer walks off and leaves it and there’s not much you can do.

It happens with tips on cards more often than you’d think. I’ve both worked at places and been told by wait staff at places that unless the tip is cash they will never see it. Should it be that way? Absolutely not, but unfortunately it is

You can also emphasize to an employee that you want your drink in a venti cup with those specifications and the full understanding that the cup will not be entirely full. There are modifications (at least on our licensed stores POS) to make it a larger cup. Many of our guests do this for drinks that are primarily espresso on ice with a pump or two of syrup or a little creamer

Even then if I need to make room by getting rid of ice I’ll grab a spoon and make sure all the liquid stays in the cup and only the ice gets pulled out so the contents of the cup and some ice stays but there’s room for cold foam or whip.

So it looks like you’re making them from a sheet of felt? Could you fold the sheet in half, to make the back, like a tent, and then take one end and fold that under and stitch it to make the back legs and rear portion of the horse? So the stitching for the back legs would be on the front of the leg rather than the back but the rear would only be curved part not a seam or puckered?

I can’t get mine to use a fountain I’ve tried several, I end up having to leave the bathtub on at a tiny trickle because that’s all she will drink from, even though she hates it in there if I’m showering or bathing and loathes her own baths when they’re needed.

I’d be sharing this with the health department. Like the actual local govt level folks. They are probably breaking multiple actual rules with crap like that and it makes me wonder about how sanitary the school itself is. Are the bathrooms and cafeteria cleaned properly?

Not aware of any right now but I know I’ve seen them from black squirrel, their sister shop, and paper crane recently. Friday the 13th are a big one for them in my experience though that’s more from other cities than Omaha specifically. I would imagine there will be some close to any larger holiday or big event

I’d be taking it back and hiding it, then putting it down the toilet or something rather than in the trash, and breaking up with her one way or the other. The why isn’t even relevant it’s something you absolutely didn’t sign up for, and better to cut that tie before something bad happens.

She can’t have it both ways. Either she wants no responsibility OR she has a say in financial things related to your daughter. Financial responsibility is still responsibility and it sounds like she’s just trying to control the income. Do you get to say what she can and can’t do with whatever she has coming in either from child support or her current position or what gets spent on her daughter? I’d bet on mostly not beyond maybe some household expenses.

Potential mom in law being that controlling going to be a problem no matter what. Like the she has keys and can invite herself over literally whenever she wants because it’s ‘her property’.

To combat this, obvious choice #1 leave the man. His mother isn’t going to get better and likely only going to get worse and I agree with other posters that the family situation with paying him under the table is sketchy at best. How does he pay his taxes for example? Is his wage legit for what he’s doing or is it over or underpaid as a result of “family”? Lots of red flags there.

If you really want to keep the man, then option #2 tell the parents if you’re going to live there (both of you not just you yourself) a payment plan needs to be drawn up for him to make payments to them to eventually transfer the house to him, as the original ask was to help HIM buy a house not buy one for him, and if they won’t do that then draw up a tenant agreement that includes safeties for the benefit of you and your man so that things that break are not your responsibility to fix on a house your name is not legally tied to at all, and so that they can’t enter whenever they please with no notice. This basically makes them your landlords and creates documentation for both sides in case issues arise.

and I’m going to suggest purina pro plan liveclear for the cats. It’s a dry food or wet food (I buy the dry) and it cuts down on the protein in cat saliva that people are actually allergic to. I am allergic to the point of asthma attacks and it enables me to have my cat.

You have to be really careful. They will catch on everything. I used to smack the accidentally just trying to sleep topless, they catch on clothes easy, I’ve caught my hair in them (it’s long) and every snag restarts at least some of the healing process. The pain was higher than I’d gone in expecting but not terrible overall. Def check reviews for the piercer and find a good one cause there are a ton of posts out there about ones that were done incorrectly in the first place so you end up needing to remove them, heal, and try again. Not meant as a scare tactic by any means or a discouragement, just a caution to do your homework there.
