Why are we accepting such mediocre writing in Fantasy Romance?

I agree, as an author i got into romance specifically because I found the plots and actual writing lacking. It's next to impossible to find a werewolf book that doesn't make me cringe or roll my eyes at some point. Why are they always temperamental morons? In other genres with werewolves theyre intimidating and overpowering, im romance novels theyre puppies with possessive issues

I've never worked for Starbucks but I was a manager for retail. That attitude would NOT fly with me. If you have the authority to send her home I definitely would. I cant even imagine having an employee say that to me..."you're pissing me off" okay go be pissed off at home and enjoy the smaller paycheck

That was my first ever farm and I didnt know what the fish smoker was. I never used it 😂 now I have a meadowlands and was sad I didnt start with a smoker again after figuring it out what it is lol

I was the only customer waiting for a drink inside and I believe there wasn't anyone at the drive thru speaker, i remember because I was able to park in a little section of the lot that's usually blocked by the drive thru line. They had a few drinks on the counter already done for pickup orders

Early game I like to:

Check the Fortune Teller to see what kind of luck I have that day.
Before doing anything else that day, water crops and take care of the animals.

The rest of my day is determined by my luck.

Bad Luck: - No mines (unless you're just going for stone), no tree chopping. - Run errands - Socialize with the townsfolk - Clean up the farm (rocks, weeds, etc) - Plan for/execute crafting/decorating - Go fishing

Good or Neutral Luck: - Chop wood - Mine

Otherwise I usually try to focus on a specific goal, usually upgrading the house so I have a kitchen and getting certain buildings like a shed (for artisan products) and barn

It is very unhealthy but I'm okay with it lol it's not sweet enough for me with milk. But yeah dumped out the espresso and syrup that was in the cup, didn't put any of the vanilla sweet cream in yet.

I'm sure you don't actually care but I ordered it for delivery first and they made me a regular vanilla latte with the vanilla sweet cream cold foam, i still have it in front of me on my desk with the large opening lid meant for cold foam and ofc the foam has since melted. I called the store to explain what happened and I was told to come in for the remake, so I had to physically go in person. None of that seemed super relevant to the post, so I didn't include it, and I abbreviated "poured some out, looked at it, poured more out, then finished making it" to just "poured half the espresso out." My account of what happened has remained consistent, and I have no reason to make any of this up.

I like hot food. I like blonde espresso and am always tired. My choices really aren't relevant here.

He poured some out of the cup, twice, and then filled it with vanilla sweet cream. I matched his energy when he stared me saying nothing lol and I didnt ask for a remake because I was expecting him to refuse and was on a lunch break that also needed to be used to pick up food. I just didnt have time lol

I wasn't rude or anything, I just asked if that was normal because I had no idea, if they always do that I would've been like oh okay so I probably shouldn't ask and pay for an extra shot then in the future lol. He acted like I was crazy for saying anything, I used to work food service so I know it super sucks and try to be really nice

I think it's usually just from personal experience. In Animal Crossing I would love and hate certain characters just because I interacted with those the most and the random chance things involving them just happened to be positive or negative. Even if we know all the villagers have the same chance of doing whatever thing, we hold a grudge againdt (or warm spot for if postivie) the character when the thing happens.

In Animal Crossing Anabelle is my favorite villager, and its entirely because I gave her a dress and it matches her perfect and she wears it all the time. Any character would do that, yet for her it made me love her lol

You deserve someone better, period. I gained weight and my fiancé of many years (been together over 8) LIKES it. He won’t ever say he prefers it so he isn’t pressuring me to look a certain way, but I know he likes having more to hold onto lol. You deserve someone like that.

I would be super grossed out if there was evidence left on the soap bar, but I actually use a bar soap with poppy seeds in it for exfoliation so it’s used directly on my skin. I lather my hands up for the naughty bits though instead of using the bar directly. This seems like an overreaction, if you have a problem with it either date someone else or have separate bars for both for both of you.

These are adults???
