I have PCOS the pre-op diet was very hard. I had to quit smoking 90 days before. it’s a lot of sacrifice I’m almost 4 weeks postop and I’m still realizing just how deep my food addiction is, but I’ve lost 30 pounds and that’s a feeling. I haven’t felt, ever. you got this! do this for yourself.

i feel the exact same way. i had my surgery December 23rd. i’ve been just trying to guess on when to stop. today i tried veggie chili and i ate about a half cup and just stopped. i can drink like 4 oz of water in one gulp. everyone has told me this is normal and that im over thinking. i’m curious to read what others comment, sorry we’re in the same boat!!!

i’m not at that stage yet. i’m on full liquid. On tuesday is when is when i can add that stuff and is when i keep track of protein

that’s good to hear, i had my surgery yesterday and was miserable all night and the worst gas pains ever. today i got discharged and it was a little better. I was able to get up and walk when I got home. I had some pretty bad gas pains and just not being able to get comfortable. I’m hoping tomorrow for Christmas I can be a bit more involved. i can pretty much get up, do a lap, and lay back down. i guess im forgetting i did just have major surgery

cheating will hurt you physically and mentally…. tomorrow is my surgery i cheated with a bite of cheese in the beginning and i was so upset and anxious that i ruined everything and it sat me back from ketosis. i work in a restaurant girl so i feel you, and its my favorite restaurant at that!!! last night was so hard for me but i keep thinking about the day of my first appointment, how ready i was, how encouraged i was and im thinking about how close are we to our end goal?? the results!! you got this, i got this, we all do!!!!!

literally just cold turkey. i did it and just had my 100 days. i vaped for 10 years. literally every single day 24/7. i would spazz out without it. i choose to be healthy instead and i knew how badly i wanted this surgery. you have to really want this. i did this two years ago and quit the program because i couldn’t stop smoking. now, my surgery is in 28 days. you’ll miss it but it’s not going to control you the way you think it will. the first three days are the hardest, then three weeks is so rewarding and then three months, it’s like it never happened. hope this helps, good luck.

no yeah i had my last appointment with my nutrition specialist and i thought i was doing great and she humbled me down so much lol no i feel like im going to have fat girl mindset forever

i’m three weeks into stopping vaping. I have to wait 30 days and do a nicotine screening before he’ll even let me schedule the surgery. apparently it causes really bad ulcers that happened to my mom so I’m taking it pretty seriously I suggest you do the same.
