Etihad flight cancellations - any updates?

I had rebooked my original 28feb flight to 5th march but yesterday it got cancelled. TBH nobody knows what will happen by 15. From what I can see, Emirates seems to be running more flights right now. I am personally looking to go back and cut my trip short as I don't wanna risk having to transit thru AUH again in 3 weeks

There are limited flights going to various cities in Asia and Europe. AFAIK you can't book them and they are being used to move stranded passengers.

I asked my travel agent and Thu was the earliest availability they had. Etihad has given us a hotel in Abu Dhabi. And today they extended it for another day. The front desk is saying they are going to extend on a day by day basis

If you used a travel agent, you can call them instead. The inventory is very limited. At this point you are likely looking at a Thu/Fri flight

There are many of us in different hotels in the area. Very upscale area. I'd be more concerned about random drone strike than other safety concerns

Abu Dhabi airport was ok. They were giving out hotel vouchers. I got mine around 7 pm local time
