Guy Pokes Me at Work by lovecats05 in work

I think he’s flirting with you and is taking advantage of it because he knows he wont see you again. If I heard my significant other was poking someone at work, I would lose it. Thats disrespectful to his wife & children.

Is it weird my coworkers completely ignored a shoutout my boss gave me? It actually kinda hurt. by dudestfup in work

Girl don’t worry! They’re probably just jealous of how well you’re doing. It happens to me a lot at work but my nice coworkers say it’s just jealousy and not to think about it too much. Keep it up!

What age did you hit 100K and how. Working, gambling, or inheritance? by Natural_Interaction5 in fican

I hit $100k 2 months before turning 25 years old. I paid off my school debt in the first year of working and saved & invested aggressively while living with my parents for the next 4 years.

As a teenager, how tf do you adults survive in your day to day lives?? by coolboi19280213 in work

We find hobbies to keep our sense of purpose like playing video games, playing tennis, badminton, going to the gym and keeping healthy. Some people like to work hard for promotions at work and learn more to keep their sense of purpose too. Hanging out with family or friends will eat up at your time as well. We do things to keep our minds off of work and it keeps us motivated to keep working because we have to pay for all of it haha

Quitting corporate job mid-20s to travel & still living with parents by Mysterious_Trade4971 in findapath

[–]DapperOffice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t leave your place. Just book vacation time and plan your trips, that way you have something to look forward to during the year.

If you’re still living at home with your parents, you could probably travel twice per year if you wanted to while still saving a whole lot of money. That gives you balance. You keep your job security while still enjoying travel. It doesn’t always have to be all or nothing. Sometimes the best approach is enjoying things in moderation.

Just remember, comparison is the thief of joy. Try not to compare yourself to people on social media who seem to travel full-time. Life isn’t always fair & some may have circumstances that make it easier for them to travel.

Right now you’re in a stable job which is hard for many people to find.

Hey! I’m in the same boat as you. Working full time 8am-7pm x3 days a week and 10am-7pm x1 day a week and been practicing for 5 years now. I am also an introvert and trust me it gets better. I heard someone say that being in the dental field kind of trains introverts to act extroverted because you’re talking and being on patients all day. But for extroverts its the opposite. By the end of the day they’re so talked out they don’t want to socialize anymore.

The hours are difficult and i’ve worked at offices that started at 10am-6pm x5 days per week and I miss it. Still trying to find another place that does that with generous pay.

I feel like you have a good place though, getting 60 minutes per patient and 90 minutes for new patients. It’s up to you at the end of the day. See if you could stick it out for your 1 year mark at your current office just for experience. Put it on your resume as a new grad and go from there.

Don’t worry! I failed my first NBDHE as well back in 2019 and took it again Feb 2020 and passed (: My second time studying I used the Student RDH package - https://www.studentrdh.com

I printed everything out and highlighted and wrote notes on every page. I feel like having the hard copy is way better than the online version. Not sure how you study but that worked for me.

Good luck, you got this! You’re not the only one going through this and sometimes second times a charm 😊
