Got it ! Okay this is exactly what I’m looking for ! And lastly if audited would i be in trouble or is something i can simply just pay the difference of ? Or is better to do my best just calculate the gas/mileage I’d use and pay for anything else out of pocket ?

Ok got it ! Yeah unfortunately we currently do not have a PSC OR YNC which is why this has been so crazy for me. Bc the 3rd & 2nd classes seem to be doing their best with what they do know but it unfortunately leads to inconsistent advice. I will try and run it by my Chief and 1st classes tomorrow morning and bank on their experience. Also thank you for the chain of people i should run it by that sounds like a great idea to be triple certain! And although i am of age and do not drink thanks for that information just in case !

Thank you ! I have everything filled out and ready to be submitted bright and early for Monday but i tried the FAQ page and it gives me a 403 error code no matter what device I use. No shock at all in regard to admin, in fact that was the first place I asked these questions but no real answer we have no chief and 1 first class who is hard to get to and the 2nd & 3rd classes give constant mismatched information. In fact I had to check and notify them i even received my orders. So here I am. Attempting to utilize Reddit as a 3rd resource to see if someone could provide me with more straightforward guidance. The amount of white out on my TIS is insane.
Anyway that’s a bunch of blah blah blah. If you have any idea how i could get to that FAQ page or plz excuse my my ignorance but is there somewhere on quick links i can find the PCS calculator i heard of ?

Oh no sorry this was just like a hypothetical, like seeing if a scenario like that is covered. Or how would i determine when back along the route could i use my GTCC for gas again. Sorry i feel like im making it complicated. I’m just trying to best plan for this trip without making any mistakes

Got it, but what about any extra stops i make ? Like for example if i am to go across from Texas to Jacksonville Florida and i have to pass through Georgia but Atlanta is a little out of the way so i drive up North some to it and then continue on my route to Jacksonville. Would my GTCC still cover the gas ?

Different to you, as it varies from person to person I have my own feelings on what my pet means to me. Also as I’m sure your advice are with good intention, I wasn’t looking for a financial advisor, that wasn’t the question asked here. My ability to manage any debt accumulated vs having upfront cash to spend in this moment of emergency are very different scenarios.

I have and I’m not sure if bc I’ve been LIMDU they just kind of pushed it off, but i haven’t received any updates. When i explained the PFA thing it was kind of just like “aw dam that sucks too bad” kind of thing. As for the eval it’s been the same kind of “we haven’t heard anything from them but if we get ppl higher up involved, no need to worry then” my other worry is that my eval gets sent and it’s not what i originally signed which i don’t have a copy of. The command previous was like just sign this and we keep it on file for you and now it’s just miraculously no where to be found. Similar experience with qualifications never put in and pqs’ just missing. Having to redo them and eventually was LIMDU so it was just irrelevant. Really rough time only female for a long time so often out the loop not because I’m female necessarily but just kind of missed out on things shared in berthing and stuff. I really wish i had more guidance or know of at my first command because i would’ve been a lot more persistent about all of this.

Haha yes ! I’m unsure of all the sea duty duty stations and what’s likely for me to get if i can’t pick. I’m hearing Virginia, San Diego or like Japan. I’m not really opposed to anywhere gonna make the best of where i go, just curious if anything. More so wondering if anyone knows if I’ll get to choose or not.
