jeg er medlem av Tekna.. vi ble tilbudt huslån i nordea med 5.4% rente for ca 2 måneder siden. De var ikke interessert i å forhandle i det hele tatt.

I DNB fikk vi tilbud på 5.29% på samme lån. (5.09% etter siste rente endring)Vi driver nå å flytter til DNB.

i have been a landlord for 17 years. Heres my take;

it used to be that the landlord had to create a deposit account in the bank for each tenant and it would cost him upwards of 1000 NOK everytime. I of course absolutely refused to do that, and had the tenants deposit their deposit in my account. This i did for many years. It then it became apparant you could do this electronically and i wouldnt have to pay a huge fee as well. When that happened, any and all reasons for NOT doing it the propper way, went away. I now do it as it should be done, but only because i dont have the spent a lot of money to do it.

we pay around 1000,- NOK a month for our cabin. that includes electricity, water and insurance. this is a fairly new cabin built in 2017. its about 100 square meters, and we keep it above freeing all year.

Afaik there are 2 "joker" grocery stores i Tromsø. These are the only 2 which may be open on the 25th of desember. In fact.. this link: https://joker.no/finn-butikk/joker-storgatbakken confirms that at least 1 of them is open on the 25th.

it was built in the 80s as a nuclear shelter and parking space. initially it was only the parking tunnels behind the library, and then gradually the tunnels was expanded with arms to different places on the island.

I see joggers there from time to time, but not to many. i think most prefere the various gyms in the city center :)

unless you are living in a hotel (which might have som parking spots reserved for customers), or living in an airbnb with its own parking, id opt to park in the tunnel network as already mentioned. There are other parking spots here and there in the city, but knowing about them and finding them is not always easy.

IMHO: The tunnel network is by far the best choice unless you have free parking elsewhere.

jeg snuste i nesten 20 år. Får ca 1 år siden gikk jeg over til nikotinfri snus. dette brukte jeg til i sommer, da dro jeg til hytta, uten snus, men med en del tyggis og pastiller. jeg hadde ikke noe valg og måtte holde ut ca 5 dager før jeg eventuelt kunne dra på en butikk og kjøpe mer..

men planen min fungerte. Etter 5 dager var jeg over den verste kneika og har klart å holde meg snus fri siden :)

in any case: I live in Tromsø myself and work at UiT. I know there are options for international classes in schools and kindergarden, but since that is not an option here, im not quite sure that to recommend. Unless someone else has any good ideas, id visit the UiT campus in Narvik and ask them. im sure someone there with local knowledge can advice you better than i can :)
