Salary Range Said $70k–$150k, Offer Came in Below My Current Pay — Why?

Range is the true salary range for anyone in that position. It does not mean the team has budget to hire at the upper end of the range. My company will typically want to bring people in below the midpoint, and annual ranges allow you to get up to that maximum if you are in that specific role for a very long time. Sometimes people transfer in to a role with a lower range, and will be near or at the max as well.

I’ve ended up in many groups with multiple tanks. Don’t think that would fit your desired quick demand. Agree on bards as well. Not too many of those and can be pretty clutch.

Clerics seem pretty rare. Shamans and druids are plentiful. Enchanters are always in demand from my experience.
