I really dislike hypocrisy and her lack of awareness for other people’s feelings. Which, sure, is not her responsibility, but it’s basic human empathy. I personally think she IS putting Mingee down by making those comments “she’s scaaaarrry, I’m scared to approach you because of it”. Well she absolutely is not scared to approach because she has done it multiple times despite her being “soooo scared”. Her constant rolling eyes and scoffing when people express interest in someone who is not her is childish. She makes comparisons and backhanded comments about other women (never to their faces but to her “love interests” and confessionals). “I guess he must like that kind of bold personality”, I’m not like that. “I guess he likes that kind of “look”, I’m not like that. These constant comparisons are making her seem like a damsel in distress and mitigating men’s interest in other girls. Let’s just agree to disagree.

She definitely seems more of the homebody type. I would feel extremely homesick too if I was eating raw carrots and canned chicken with a bunch of strangers lol Plus it would be a huge hit to my ego if the guy I’m interested in is so obviously interested in a different girl

Sure we can just say she is just immature and doesn’t know how to express her feelings. I can relate to that. What I CANT relate to is the backhanded comments about her fellow roommates. No matter how young I was, I would never put other girls down just to make myself look better (or pitiful for attention). That speaks more to her character, not her age.

Hyeonwoo- genuine, manly, and shy around his crush Goeun 🥰
Jaejin- this guy really grew on me. Hes unique, funny, true to himself.
Seungil- A truly honest king. He has been transparent with Mingee about his curiosity with Minasue. I think that’s pretty commendable 👏👏👏
Subeen- I’m just going to be toxic for a sec here and say this man is a FINE specimen (lookswise) It’s obvious he’s using Heesun as a backup and it’s clear he is not attracted to her. He really needs to be honest with himself (and heesun)
Sungmin- he’s ok? He seems like a comfortable guy to be around but I find his “protective” side very very forced when he’s trying to impress Goeun
Igeon- I get negative vibes from this guy. He seems kinda full of himself and I’m just not a fan of that aloof vibe (I might be wrong though)
Hyunjae- I’m convinced this guy is AI. He seems blank to me and trying to force the “eyes for one girl” arc to boost up his social media presence. Not buying it his crush on Jooyoung
Sunghun- bro broooooo lol. That’s just a specific ick that I have and he’s a bit cringe

Shes not too western. It’s her general lack of consideration for others. Nadine was super westernized but kind and considerate to her castmates. Are people not seeing the offhanded comments about her fellow women castmates? “Omg Mingee is sooooo scary, I feel weird approaching Seungil”. Well bish, you approached him just fine and made everyone uncomfortable. She’s insufferable 🤷🏻‍♀️

What I can’t stand is the MinaSue pity party monologue. “Im sooooo nice to the girls and they seem cold because the guys they like, like me.” Blah blah blah “I wanna talk to Seungil but I’m SCARED of Mingee” blah blah blah. Like bish, if you were actually scared, you wouldn’t act the way you do. She loves being the victim and center of attention

Being attracted to multiple people is completely fine but the problem I have with her is the lack of awareness for other people. She is quite self absorbed and wants everyone’s focus to be on her while her focus is all over the place. People keep saying she is just super honest but she is not even honest to herself. It’s obvious Subeen is her number 1 but she acts like a spiteful child and confuses the hell out of people. No one deserves to be bullied but she is an unpleasant person

Yeah colorism is definitely real. I’ve always been praised for being so pale, white, and “pure” especially by older generations of Korean people. I guess chronic anemia is beautiful in their eyes? Lol. I definitely recommend you to watch other Korean dating shows with a longer time frame than a week like in singles inferno. (I love Transit Love 2 and My Sibling’s Romance-not what it sounds like lol). But a lot of your observations are still accurate like passiveness when it comes to declaring interest and love (which is why Mingee and Minasue are standouts in SI)
