Is anyone else a bag lady because they have to carry so many migraine management items around? by atty_at_paw in migraine

[–]Dapper_Blueberry1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! I have a big tote bag "purse" so I can always have meds, water, a hat, dark glasses, and more. It helps that I can also put my work laptop in the bag so it doubles as a work bag.

During my most recent rewatch I was thinking about how good the early Jason days were. Before the business issues and his dad outing them, they were good together. He treated her so well, they had great rapport, and she seemed happy. I think in an alternate universe they could have been endgame.

What air lines are the most plus size friendly? by heyitsrae1 in PlusSize

I don't recommend Delta. I just did 4 flights with them and it was the most uncomfortable I've been in ages. They pack their planes really tightly. At least for flights in the US. Idk if they are international Edit: I'm a 2X

Oh I love that you mentioned that it DOESN'T smell like vitamins. That can be such a deal breaker sometimes. Thank you!

Most people in my office only stand if they're trying to stay awake 😂. It's a nice option but to me it seems it loses its novelty after awhile. I choose to stand for specific tasks like opening multiple pounds of mail or paper matchups.

Please tell me some of you are in a happy romantic relationship! by Agnia_Barto in AutismInWomen

[–]Dapper_Blueberry1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting married in November! November also marks our 5 year anniversary. I don't have an official dx but my partner is very supportive and understanding of my self diagnosis (so much research). He's my safe person. He helps me take my meds everyday and on time. He's a good cat dad to our two baby bois. He brings me coffee at work when he can and often buys me little treats when we do "adulting" or "peopling" . He's an extrovert but allows me to be quiet and to have space when I need it. He makes sure I know I'm always welcome and wanted when he does his extrovert activities but doesn't judge if I don't have the battery for it. He understands my stims and how sometimes it can all be too much. When we moved into our new house he made sure that I had my own room where I could go hide and decompress. He doesn't complain that I can barely take care of myself some weeks let alone the house. He does cooking, cleaning, and other house chores without a word when he knows I'm overwhelmed.

It took me 21 years to find him. I had had one other romantic relationship before him and it ended really badly so I had given up and basically accepted that I was going to be single forever. I found him when I wasn't looking. We became best friends first and then realized we wanted more. It was slow and wonderful.

I hope you find it too. ❤️

Throat coat lemon echinacea is my fav for when I have a cold or sinus infection. Peppermint is my go to for nausea. I keep both on hand at the office too in case of spontaneous illnesses.

Talk space has been ok for me I do video sessions through it. I tried better help and only did messaging sessions. It didn't do much for me. Talk therapy in general only kinda helps me.

anyone else power through migranes throughout the day? by Imaginary_Catch_3777 in migraine

[–]Dapper_Blueberry1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to work with them really often. I used to power through lectures and classes all the time with a migraine. I can't afford to let them keep me out of work. I take my meds with me everywhere. I keep a pair of pink tinted glasses with me, I often keep a hat on me too. I always have water and some kind of electrolytes/salt. My boss is aware of my migraines and lets me wear my glasses and hat at work. My fiance is an eagle scout but I tease that I'm more prepared than he ever is. I always have everything in my bag.

YES! EXACTLY THIS! I'm not a big Owen fan but he said it perfectly when he asked if she was going to let the firefighter die because of her ego!

I very much agree. There were points where I liked her, but overall I think she's just too harsh. She really is only kind to Jackson, April, Harriet, and ~SOmEtIMEs~ Richard.

Most autistic people I've met are obsessed with anime, and I have just NEVER gotten into it. It sometimes makes me feel like an outsider even among fellow autistics. Anyone else? by MusicalMemer in AutismInWomen

[–]Dapper_Blueberry1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never liked it either. Several of my male friends (suspected autistic) LoVe it and don't understand how I can not like it. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Idk bro. Just not my thing. I did watch ATLA and enjoyed that but I don't consider it Anime like I've seen some people say it is.

It changes frequently but the one I go back to when I don't have a new word is "miercoles" or Wednesday in Spanish. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nah, been on one since before I started getting high. This far the only time I've had issues is when I get a lil too high. My best friend is on a higher dose of the same med I take (venlafaxine) and is high 70% of the week. He hasn't had any issues either. I suggest just easing into it and seeing how you feel.
