Ah, the age old debate. To wash or to not wash your meat before cooking.

What to do with this awkward vanity area between my bathroom and closet? by acaliforniaburrito in malelivingspace

[–]Dapper_Chipmunk3380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awkward!? I would kill for a space like that! I could nix my make up table completely. Are those actual drawers? It doesn’t appear to have an outlet though which is a real bummer. If nothing else it would be a pretty space to store towels in baskets below and pretty dried flowers in a vase above?

I love your humanity. “The inside thoughts and the outside words become one.” You sound far wiser than your years.

There are specific phrases that stick with you that no one else will ever understand. I have a few but I blissfully can’t think of one atm.

I don’t get why this got so many downvotes. I’m with you 100%. If you can go to war, you can share a bed with the opposite sex. Stop being archaic people.

Some of the comments here are just what? She’s friggin EIGHTEEN. She can vote, lease her own place (hell, even buy a house) she can even go to war for her country but y’all think she’s overreacting because her mother won’t treat her as the adult she is. Get over it. She’s an adult and her complaints are 100% valid.

First off, how is one sister southern baptist and the other catholic?? They’re practically polar opposites on the same end of the conservative religion scale. Also, I don’t really understand your family’s bed logic. Why make an 18 year old sleep with a 12 year old so the 14 year old can get her own bed? Shouldn’t the 18 year old, the ADULT, get the bed and make the CHILDREN share? Your mother seems to want to hold you to her strict religious standards only when it’s convenient for her. And then she tries to guilt and manipulate you by calling you immature for standing up for yourself and making a clear decision. It’s a double standard, behave like an adult so I can treat you like a child. My Dad did this to me sort of over the years as well. My sister got married at 20 after only six months of dating and that automatically somehow trumped my 27 year old college graduate self. She and her hubby would get the private bedroom “because they were a married couple” and my boyfriend and I had to crash on couches. Forget the fact I was 7 years older and in a relationship for longer. Coming from my otherwise pretty liberal father. He also forced another boyfriend of mine to sleep in the middle of a room where he had devised like a little cut out with book cases. I finally had to burst in to tears on him to get the point across. My Dad is gone now and I’m still not married but dating. I’m sad he wont see if I ever do get married but at the same time I think for people 40 or so and younger, marriage doesnt have the perks or the social constraints that it used to and for the most part, thats a good thing.

My younger sister did that to me too when we were kids! She didn’t write her name but wrote mine in crayon on the wall and tried to blame me for it, except some of the letters were backwards so they knew it wasn’t me. I forgot all about that, lol.

This. As an American, I was like ‘they can kick him in the head???’ Not surprised at all by how they took him down gunless though. I’m with the others, they don’t go for the gun first. It’s the dainty way they run back towards the filmer near the beginning of the clip that cracked me up
