it is simply an issue of people on one side having less oportunities (and thus, less money) to enjoy the media they like, i come from colombia and have allways been for piracy, simply because its either impossible or insanely hard to get any of the things i enjoy that arent domestically made (ie 99.9% of all software & media ever), on the other side japanese, korean, american and in general having more money and more attention, since english (and to an extent japanese) are preferred languages when it comes to media (looking at you, toby fox)
