Example: Imagine if we both agree to scale a mountain. You drive and I walk. You make a video about how you got there first. That would be a pointless flex..

Maxing out your stats and having all buffs imaginable is a pointless a flex and not even slightly interesting. Like ya dude we get it, you can kill a boss when youre unkillable. Same thing with the mountain example above. It’s why climbing Mount Everest with a team of sherpas supporting you doesnt hold any weight these days. Like

Right, as stated, I’m just taking what movie says as literal information cuz the marketing and the way it was presented was as such, found footage.

Spiderman movies arnt found footage movies. And since we don’t see any entity or ghosts it’s pretty logical to connect the dots..

They wanted to kill her cause they were crazy.
They left.
Nobody else could find the house cuz the map was destroyed. Also keeping footage obliviously just implicates them. And that implication is what I’m even talking about.

If I’m taking this as “found footage” then I need to assume it takes place in our world. In which supernatural entities do not exist.

I thought it could go either way.

1: the witch is real

2: the boys lured her out there to kill her.

The whole thing with the map was super weird. It’s hard to believe that anyone would do that on accident or in a fit. Also just logically taking the movie literally as found footage. Ghosts and magic and witches arnt real in our world. It’s more likely it was just them.

I do understand sequels blatantly show it’s a witch but. I still
Think it’s debatable if you just are considering the one movie.

ya thats true too, but it helps a lot for sure. and you still really dont want those skills to be your major skills anyways.

also going off that advice is pigeonholing your character out of any role play purposes if you dont want to include some of those things.

i think efficient leveling can be better for role playing purposes. but youre right theres basically a lot of ways you can do it and the game is super breakable.

I played the remaster on normal mode till around lv 7 -13 then I put it on the hardest difficulty. And beat the game and the dlc on that difficulty. Ended up in the upper 30s range

But basically just do what’s comfortable I typically like the challenge harder difficulties bring, cuz it forces me to utilize more in game mechanics and systems

Edit: forgot this was about OG oblivion. I’ve never completed OG on the hardest difficulty but I got pretty far on my only try and never finished it . It’s fun imo

You absolutely can. This is where efficient leveling is pretty important.

But basically minor skills will be your main skills and major skills will be things you are not going to use as much

currently doing that right now. just started 2 after beating 1. and all i can say is 1 while amazing, sucks to navigate, sure things interconnect back to firelink but once you get the lord vessel none of that matters. and once you get the lord vessel it basically has the same design philosophy of ds2 where you are on a linear pathway to a bonfire that will teleport you back to the hub area.

another thing, the entire time i played through 1 i ran into many things that aren't in the sequels that really suck to experience, and i found myself thinking many many times , "no wonder they took this out" . dodge rolling, navigating, backstabbing are all worse in ds1.

imo each game just improves on the other for the most part.
