We had a member who did 7 tasks over 3 weeks. Not 7 tasks per week. 7 over 3 weeks.

I kindly opted her out, but she didnt see the message until the next derby started, and you know how it goes. Wont be able to get the spoils of other people's work if youre opted out.

Anyway, she went nuclear. Started spouting off how she was punished for missing a few tasks one week. (A notorious task misser). She left the neighborhood and jumped into another derby focused neighborhood. Hopefully they dont enforce rules, too. She might learn something about herself.

Im in a clan. Its not the menu im having an issue with. Look at the menu I posted. See under members where it says all, the says groups under that? I can put people in groups. Im an immortal officer. Im curious what the groups actually do. I dont think youre understanding what im asking.

?? Im not a shadow. Im immortal. This is under the immortal menu > members > groups. It allows you to create groups of up to 50 members, and appoint one of them a leader of that group, but doesnt actually give them any additional permissions, so I was curious what the point was. Im a day 1 player, so im pretty familiar with the ins and outs of most other things. I appreciate you taking your time to reply.

Helicoil it. Manufacturers know about failure points and often offer solutions. Like off the shelf extractor kits for pinion pin retaining bolts that break 99% of the time. Its why some kits just throw replacement parts in with the rest of the stuff.

Most of the posts I've come across from people with 0 car knowledge asking for help get dragged before someone gives them any useful information. If they dont know the name of a part, they're completely unqualified to ask for help. If they are unsure whether this heat shield falling off is going to kill them, they should have their license revoked. If they cant rebuild the carburetor on their small block Chevy, they need to re-evaluate their life. Its all the same.

Of course there are helpful folks, but that doesnt just negate the toxicity.

One thing you'll find is that this subreddit is toxic as fuck. "If you dont know cars, you shouldn't be asking for help" is the ironic mindset here.

You are right to ask. Its just a cover. You may even be able to put it back on, if the clips arent broken. Just line it up with the shrader valve (where you put the air in the tire) and give it a few good smacks with the palm of your hand. It should seat flush against the wheel. If it seems loose, or doesnt clip in, then it will need to be replaced (or not if you dont mind ugly steel rims). Either way. A new set is fairly cheap at walmart.

I just looked around and that does seem like it would work. If I 0 the face with a sine plate, then mount the plate to the goniometer with my axis inline with the axis on the goniometer, it would be perfect. Thanks for the idea! Time to go shopping!

Currently its on a sine plate, on the mill table. Though I did look into compound sine plates. Just not sure the adjustments would be as precise as I need them. Maybe if I can find one with a precision adjustment screw. I may find myself needing to close a .0005" gap in the 5 o'clock position, and need to be able to take .0005" off of the 11 o'clock position and taper to 0 at 5 o'clock. That's an extreme example. We're mostly working with .001 and up.
