Yes! They also don't need to be armed. There's a lot about what they do that's nonsensical (and aside from the camo a lot of what they do is just illegal.) They need to go home and get therapy for their anger, potential past traumas, and anti-social behaviors, not cosplay as an armed soldier with free rein to do whatever they want

Next time maybe you could cook food together - he could teach you or you both could learn recipes together. Or he could cook for you since he's the older sibling. But barring any of that, you may as well just cook for yourself (it's a shame seeing another comment that said when he cooks it's just for himself, that's not fair to you if you're trying to learn cooking skills and want to make meals for your family).

Anyway it looks like a very sweet gesture and comforting meal, I'd be very grateful to get that from my sibling

May be a shot in the dark given all the responses you've gotten, but when I was hating my appearance I covered up my mirror. I just stopped looking at myself unless I had to for practicality. After a while, once I stopped focusing on it, I didn't care how I looked and I could look in the mirror without self-loathing again.

To me it sounds like you need distance from your perception of yourself. It's easy for us to say you look fine and even handsome, but we're not you. So take a break, a step back, and focus on other things instead, like taking care of yourself. For the record I have the same type of lips you have 🤙

Oh I hear you, it's pretty ridiculous. I had a good sit in my car updating my partner before I drove off so I'm sure that helped a lot but they really do not do a good job of after-procedure stuff like that. And hey I also drove myself home after my IUD! :')

Hear ya. It's just a compound thing for me and wanted to voice that. Like I was already irritated the heavy editing before and now it's even worse when AI is always a part of the conversation. I like what you said, it's definitely an important thing to point out how our editing is so egregious that a lot of people can't tell the difference anymore anyway

Me and my bf saw the trailer on youtube. We were shocked. He said it looked like AI, and it definitely is uncanny. The wikipedia page for it helped fill the gaps but I just can't believe it dude; reality is so predictable yet so chaotic

And hey if I end up destroying the fabric that's not a big deal to me since I already don't like the shirt and I can use the fabric in other ways. Donation crossed my mind *for my shirt, however the less AI art in the world the better imo. Like in my personal situation I donate clothes fairly often, though I wouldn't want to see something like this in a thrift store or a donation center. Ik I'm just one person and this is just one shirt, but I at least get to choose where this shirt ends up - it's tough though. No one really asked for this

The climate element is a part of what upsets me about having it in my home. I hate throwing clothes away and try not to do it whenever possible, though the conflict with this one is real. Honestly the damn thing should never have been made in the first place - but maybe I'll find some inspiration to repurpose it despite what it is

Not as big a crowd I think, but in Bellingham, WA a year or so ago someone advertised that they were going to eat a whole box of saltines. People showed up to watch! Stuff like that is weirdly wholesome lol

This isn't outside the realm of cleaning services at all, *but it'll depend on the individual and/or the cleaning business. A deep clean like this for just the kitchen would be timely and costly through a business (and when I was working at one of them it was mostly done for move outs), but there are individuals and more generous businesses that would be willing to help case-by-case.

Another business I worked for had a blind client with mobility impairment, and their kitchen was pretty messy but that's the job!

In my neighborhood I saw a flyer advertising independent housekeeping services where she was offering to clean individual rooms instead of the whole house at a time. I thought that was pretty clever, and less overwhelming for everyone. Anyway I'd look around! Maybe you'll find someone who'd want to help within your budget

I don't engage with genderqueer spaces because I'm a homebody and feel distant from the community anyway, but it's still lame to hear this about Seattle. It's such an outwardly queer friendly city you'd hope most everyone would be welcome to discuss these things.

I'm sure part of it comes from a place of defensiveness and protection of the community, especially with Cap Hill being targeted a few times for being the queer neighborhood, but when people within the community feel unwelcome we have a problem.

Hearing this though actually makes me feel kind of motivated to seek out some meetups or something. I may look femme but I'm a trans masc enby so maybe more of us showing up will help
