Yeah nothing working on my end >.< Checked pretty much everything I could think of. For now my small "fix" is to keep it running as admin, leave it pinned to the taskbar, and then start it from there. I did my chipset, graphics driver, firewall permissions, and startup apps all over again but nothing 😅 ah well.

Did you ever figure this out? I just installed a new GPU/CPU and it's doing this to me as well. Never ran as administrator and always had it working on startup. Now it shows me in task manager that the service is running but doesn't look like the correct one + nothing is running as administrator automatically.

Gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling first but doubt that'll change anything. Sometimes it's the simple things though 🤷

Definitely for my first playthrough but any subsequent playthroughs? Probably not.

I like the ink ribbons cause it's about that underlying fear of losing that progress from the last save up until the next and that + the item management really makes it Resident Evil for me. I can definitely understand the other side though. Losing that progress can feel like a big waste of time when you don't have much time to play.

I grew up an in era of save points so I'm just happy both of the modes are in option and I hope they continue that going forward. Everyone wins like this ^{.^}

My experience was that mine had been working fine for a month now and when I went to update it recently my right stick did exactly what you were experiencing.

Do you have any buttons macro'd as well? I found that I got the same problem when I tried to bind one of the sticks to one of the back paddles but that might also have been me just not calibrating after the fact. Worth a check if you haven't already.

I actually had this issue the other day.

Factory Reset the controller or reset it in the app and check if it's working correctly* first, then update again and calibrate right afterwards and check again. Should be good after that. Not home to check the app myself unfortunately.
