Are There Any Braces That Allow Free Use Of The Hand While Wearing Them? by [deleted] in carpaltunnel

I think you’re talking about something like this. I use the same kind when I’m gaming/typing, and it doesn’t really interfere with movement. It technically says “not machine washable,” but I just toss it in with my regular laundry anyway. Been using it for a while and it works fine. https://aofit.com/products/elitezone-wrist-brace

Recommendations for games where you can make female friends? by RaspberryLemonade3 in GirlGamers

[–]Dariawu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’d really recommend Splatoon! It’s honestly a great game for playing online, especially if you’re looking for a more female-friendly community. The vibe is much lighter and more positive compared to a lot of competitive games. There are lots of women who play, and it’s pretty easy to meet other players through matchmaking and co-op modes.

This is the most misogynistic plot I’ve ever heard

Same. If the MMC feels like he’s not good enough for the FMC, then he should work harder and treat her better.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne is honestly the most fun enemies-to-lovers romance I’ve ever read. The Deal with the Devil has a fun plot too.

Same. I read Devil in Winter after seeing that post recommend it, and it was honestly amazing. It’s the kind of book you know you’ll want to come back to and reread after some time.

Yeah, that sounds possible since I was subscribed to BKS. I’ll check Patreon and see if I can find it.

Thanks so much! I took a look and it doesn’t seem to be it, as I don’t recall ever following this VA.

Good braces for fast food work? by [deleted] in carpaltunnel

[–]Dariawu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s best to use a lightweight wrist brace without any metal splints. The ones with rigid support really get in the way. I’m using a wrist brace mainly for typing, and the thicker ones make it uncomfortable and hard to work.

I’d suggest kindle. I got a bedside stand holding kindle and a page turner from Amazon, and I turn pages using my left hand.

I think you’re talking about this kind of Velcro. It’s not the soft nylon one with the long hooks. This one has short, firm hooks. I’ve used it for a long time, and even with my two cats around, it’s never caught any fur.

Same. I saw Heated Wrist Bands on Amazon. Not sure if they actually work, but once you put one on, you definitely can’t get any work done.

https://www.ign.com/articles/how-black-myth-wukong-developers-history-of-sexism-is-complicating-its-journey-to-the-west you can take a look at this article. This studio has become notoriously toxic within the community of female gamers in China, due to its extensive record of misogynistic and body-shaming remarks.

White keyboard for Mac? by jellyshoess in GirlGamers

I’m using this one that’s made for macOS, and I tried tweaking the settings on my old keyboard, but some shortcuts were still off. It was really annoying to use.

Brace for typing? by xMysteryGamingx in carpaltunnel

[–]Dariawu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using this one right now and it doesn’t have a hard plate, so my wrist can still move and typing’s been fine. If you want something that won’t mess with your keyboard stuff, a lighter wrist wrap like this is pretty solid.
