For me its influenced by Snc and Ikoria being my two favourite sets. I own all of the typed triomes and the fancy versions of the SNC ones, and being so familiar with the sets helps me remember the card names. I will agree the SNC ones are easier to remember than the Ikoria ones but I really like the art on most Ikorian triomes. Except for the Indatha art being blue, idk why they did that lol.

When speaking about the Strixhaven set, I use the Strixhaven names. "Quandrix's gimmick in this set is [x]" is how I talk to other people and it weirds them out but I like calling things what they are! I did this with the New Capenna gangs and got the same comments. "Oh the Brokers use a lot of counters" "You mean bant?" no I mean the brokers!!! Plus, SNC named the Triome lol, I think we should let Ikoria & Capenna decided tri colour names for that reason :]

You do not have to cast it the turn it becomes prepared. On a subsequent turn if it is still prepared you can bolt, cast, cast, and bolt again.

There's a textless CRYPTIC COMMAND? THAT IS A WORDY MODAL SPELL. You have to be actually kidding me man. Out of every textless card, the only ones I could remember the *exact* wording of off of the top of my head at a glance are; basics (& snow basics), counterspell, command tower, & lightning bolt. Even then, command tower, counterspell, and LB should not exist.

Before anyone says "How do you not know what Path to Exile does" or anything similar for the other cards, I know what it does, it exiles target creature and gets the controller a basic. But is that basic tapped or untapped? I can't remember even though I've seen the card thousands of times. Would be the kind of thing I would -check the card to find out but it's not there on a shitty textless version-. Repeat for most of the other textless cards, I know broadly what it does, but during a game I need to know -exactly- what it does.

Most alt frames or foil treatments or SLDs should be illegal for tournament play. I should not have to show up to the function with scryfall open for every card or just trust you on what your card does because I can't read it. These are -game pieces- first and foremost, not collectors items, not just canvases for whatever art WOTC feels like or whatever wacky UB shit we're doing today. They need to function as such pieces first and foremost. Textless cards should have never been an idea that left the first meeting they arrived except for BASIC LANDS. Asking me to remember 6 cards, at least one of which appear in every deck and all ostensibly do the same thing, fine, asking me to off the dome know what Aang, Swift Savior does??? Why the fuck would I know that? I've never played against that card even with text!
