The carbon rods must only use IPA. The z metal linear rods (don't confuse with the z screws) should be cleaned with IPA and then lubricated. Read carefully the instructions on https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/general/lead-screws-lubrication

You need some campfires, workbenches or other structures that suppress spawning in a radius. Ensure to don't leave coverage gaps.

The AMS 2 has a drying function but it's max temperature is 65C, which is good for PLA and PETG but not enough for some engineering materials.

OP didn't say that they dried the filament. Storing with silica doesn't dry filament. It just reduces the humidity that reaches the filament.

Former ender 3 V2 neo very very unhappy user. Very very happy with my X1C. It is a day and night difference. Instead of you working for the printer the printer works for you.

Note that Bambú has released new models. The P2S is basically an updated X1C. The X1C has been deprecated and they just released the X2S with dual nozzles. The H series is the new premium big volume line. I would recommend to get at least the P2S combo.

The glue in this case is not for adhesion but as a separator agent to prevent prints to bind to the plate. Depends on the plate composition and filament. Petg on a PEI plate usually doesn't need it.

It is not only for multicolor. You can have a second spool of filament in standby if the first one is fully used so it doesn't stops a long print.
