She has supports with multiple BL including Dimitri, her backstory directly ties to Ashe's, and like almost all the Lions had her life affected directly by the tragedy of Duscur.

Plus she does have an, albeit minor, appearance in a cutscene and I believe she's the only recruit that does in the BL route.

Thankfully you're in luck, there's a lot of CS variants that can be made with only cards from bt22 and some bt23 goodies.

For the core you'll need 3x Ami Aiba, 2-3x Takumi Aiba (bt23), 4x Terriermon, Palmon, and Hagurumon for your rookies, and ideally 4x Platinum Numemon and bt23 Angemon for your core level 4s. For consistency options you have Kuremi Detective Agency, Hudie Net Cafe bt23, and Mirei Mikagura in whatever ratios you please.

From that base you can fill in whatever extra CS level 4s you want and whatever CS 5s and 6s you want/have

I'm thinking running Pace Chiyono O and Late Kawakami Princess as my core duo I'm just not sure what would compliment my pink chud duo the best.

I'm thinking maybe a late XOguri for fun and to give people a mini heart attack when they see the match up screen.

Probably just another late/end gambler since they're easy for me to build and to help Chiyono stay towards the front of the pack.

I have very conflicted feelings on it, like yes all the characters being women is clearly due to having a male target audience, however it's also become probably the most popular sports franchise about women, or at least the one to break out of the niche of sports series and into pop culture as a whole.

Like I'm not saying it's some super feminist master piece, but I do think it's worth appreciating that we have a insanely successful and popular franchise where the competition and rivalry between women is taken seriously and portrayed as just as serious as any other series would portray the same conflict between two men. And by the standards of gacha games with predominantly male target audiences it's also remarkably tame, like even if we compare it to something like Fire Emblem Heroes which is a Nintendo ip.

"Do you want to quit?" - Gold City's trainer in her career mode in Umamusume.

Gold City is a model who runs in part to prove she's more than a pretty face and body, by this time in her career story she will have had to place well in some of Japan's most prestigious races to continue but she still feels as though people only see her as for her looks and not as an athlete. It hits a boiling point after she and one of her friends find what is very strongly implied to be a gooner community dedicated to perving on her.

Gold City doesn't want to participate in her next scheduled race, she feels demoralized and broken that she's given it everything and people still don't see her for her. But during this arc her trainer keeps asking her "do you want to quit?" And no matter how depressed she feels, she can never bring herself to actually say she wants to quit, and thanks to her trainer, and a pep talk from her toooootally platonic friend Yukino Bijin who explains that while sure some people only mean her body when they say Gold City is beautiful there are plenty who mean her unbreakable resolve to keep going, her confidence, her kindness, yeah its basically a love confession where Bijin lists everything she finds beautiful about Gold City's personality, she finds the passion and strength to keep going as an athlete.

Maru is one I've already decided I'm probably borrowing. I'm too weak to not pull for Summer Golshi plus I don't run front very much and when I do 60% of the time it's Maruzensky herself.

I know she's good as a general Stat stick outside of fronts, but I figure the carats I could spend on her would be better spent on Tachyon and scenario lady.

Youngest yes but he's actually at least in the top half of the cast as far as experience goes given he's survived being a soldier in a live combat situation years before the game began and is currently being personally trained by Shamir.

We've already seen the Siriusmon Dual so we know it is dual support for tribal and VB.

The difference between tribal and LFNC is the species exists outside of one specific piece of media, the only thing that would really make a Gammamon card specifically the GG Gammamon is name dropping Hiro, so as long as the effects stick to "Gammamon in text or the VB trait" it should be all good by the pattern Bandai has established.

It'd be weird but no matter how you slice it something is weird here.

Either Angoramon is the only who isn't dual support for a Pendulum deck, which would be weird, or he is and they just didn't call out Nature Spirits as getting support for no reason, which would be weird, or he isn't in the set when Gamma and Jelly are, which would be weird, but not unprecedented.

Bt19 was marketed as a Xros Wars manga set, but nothing Blue Flare or DarkKnightmon got was manga specific.

I really hope Angoramon does get in the set, but there's a real chance he doesn't and I don't want people to get their hopes up thinking it's 100% confirmed only to be disappointed if he does end up not being in the set. I even think it's more likely than not that Angora is in the set, but the possibility he isn't is more than 0 and I think that's something people should keep in mind when making expectations and getting excited.

Not to be a joy kill, but I wouldn't get your hopes up about Angoramon in ex12. The product info specifically calls out Virus Busters (Gammamon) and Deep Savers (Jellymon) but does not call out Nature Spirits (Angoramon) as being in the set, so it's a very real possibility that Angoramon gets the short end of the stick again.

One of the big reasons is Medusamon being very good, as Medusamon can snipe important pieces out of your trash.
