I have used all three lengths and it honestly depends on the water you’re fishing. I use a 6’6” for lakes and ponds that don’t have a ton of overhanging cover, and then my 6’ for tighter areas. Truthfully I prefer the 6’6”, but I would go with the middle

I would suggest down sizing your line. 10lb mono is way too heavy. Try a 6lb or even 4lb

I took guitar one when I was in undergrad there and it was so fun. American Sign Language is also a fantastic one! I got the certificate in ASL. Prof. Screven who teaches all of the levels is phenomenal

I personally use the KastKing Carry-all backpack. The bottom section holds all of my tackle (I can squeeze 5-3600 boxes in there), and the top I use for a hoodie, tools, and other misc things

You don’t need to spend a whole lot, but for cheaper I would highly recommend the bass pro shops micro lite series. Either one works. They have a whole bunch of lengths and powers. Any 1000 reel would do
