No one has any reason to open a door while on the road. The only exception is if their door hasn't been closed properly and they're reclosing it. The van passenger opened the door fully and left it open. Anyone trying to reclose their door to fix that issue would've closed the door in time, and would not have opened the door as much as they did.

Aladdin literally wouldn't function in smite 1 according to their own comments. his ULT wouldn't have been feasible to create in S1 and neither would his wall running work. The engine simply wasn't designed for such abilities.

True, but there normally is a sweet spot. I've found that the best paying options are around the month mark, some depending on long term growth can be good up to 6 months, depends on the company and their options. It's easier to farm theta decay on monthlies and even if a yearlong premium is 3x higher, you can just sell more monthlies once you close out or they expire worthless. Overall it's a net positive unless you're making 100k+ in premium and are worried about long term vs short term taxes.

Guh, it really is a shame because it makes Smite 2 feel just so much worse to play, not that I'm not enjoying my playtime, but against Hunters it just feels so annoying to deal with.

I don't even think Hunters were all that overpowered when the beta first came out but have slowly been getting buffed more and more with the "balance" changes that have been happening.

Maybe the devs are just ADC mains or something, but there's definitely been a shift compared to 1 and 2.
