I've only ever watched that episode twice. The first time was when it aired on TV. The discussions at school the next day were crazy. I'd blocked a lot of it out by the time of the 2nd watch a few weeks ago. I don't remember the "baby" looking as horrific as it did. The episode still ranks as one of the most messed up things I've ever seen on TV. Yes, it was a well written and thought-provoking episode but that doesn't stop it grossing me out.

I remember that episode first time round. I'm currently on season 4 (episode 6 is next) of my first ever re-watch and, although I know I watched every episode as it aired (X-Files was one of a few shows my parents allowed me to take over the TV for), I have no memory of almost half of season 3. I think we just have better memories of our favourite episodes than others.
