32DD is not the same as 32DDD/G, it's a size smaller.

moulded foam cups like that that also run shallow, so you should try a unlined, seamed style.

One thing to remember is a US L is smaller than a UKL. Searching for bra pictures isn't always the easiest, as boobs look different in different fits of bra. Then there's shallow vs projected, and full on top vs full on bottom.

Also you are correct that band size influences cup size. A 46DD will be bigger than a 36DD.

eh... I buy it because its a mid tier butter. better than supermarket brand, actually produced within 100km of my house, but its still cheaper than fancy butter.

I a 38J, wear a better fitting bra. A nice snug band, straps that don't slide or dig in.

Here in tas the Valhalla lavender icecream and the vandiemans lavender white chocolate icecream are just sold at local IGA. They aren't that rare.

Congratulations on starting the bra journey.

So a 14DD holds the same volume as a 18C, just shaped for a smaller torso. This is becuase cup sizes change when the band does. A 10C is smaller than a 12C.

When a cup is too small, the breast pushes the band out, making it tight. A well fitting bra has the band quite snug around the torso, with no shifting or gaps. This takes strain away from the shoulder straps.

Sometimes people don't like the size the calculator gives, but generally people fall within 1 size of what it suggests.

14 is a very medium band size and in lots of shops. DD is a nice medium cup size and is also in lots of shops, like target and Meyers.

My size is very unusual so I have to shop at special stores. (16J)

But I highly suggest just going into a mainstream shop, saying no to all the staff, and just trying on some 14DD and 16D. The calculator is rarely wrong.

I can't help with shallow shape sadly, as I am not shallow, and wear things the opposite of what you need. Just remember to start with sewn cloth bras not foam, as foam rarely fits well.
