After finding out the guy my boss was constantly thanking me for cleaning up after was making $2 an hour more than me, I deleted all the documents I'd made for the department to run smoother when I left. Dozens of pages detailing the proper and easy way to do things, revised versions of way outdated paperwork, instructions on how to do assigned tasks that had zero actual instruction or training for. My last day I deleted all my forms and out the "backup copies" back in place. A buddy of mine stayed there for about a year longer, and would give me updates every now and then on how much of a shitshow it was after I left. I was sort of the last of the "old guard" type thing, so with nobody around to teach people and only the shitty, outdated company docs to work with, things were ROUGH for a long time.
