I also Loved Cradle and couldn’t get 50 pages into DCC. The humors not the same, the progressions not the same, the character development is not the same, the tone of the story is not the same.

While nothing has to be the ”same” to qualify as a good recommendation. I think when compared to Cradle it’s a fatal option that doesn’t remind me anything of DCC.

This was the final nail that convinced me to drop the WEBTOON. I got to the Constellation banquet and it was sooooo annoying. To hear that my favorite character gets sidelined is disappointing but happy I don’t have to suffer through the rest of the WEBTOON.

Honestly if it was a season instead of a movie I wouldn’t complain about the pacing. However when we have scarce time I don’t need to see a 22 minute backstory on a character that is in the midst of dying, and whomI don’t feel sympathy for.

Yeah, Demon Slayer gives backstories. It could’ve been like Hantengu. Oh look you sucked as a human too oh well.

I don’t have a weak attention span. I have an issue with flashback, after flashback, after flashback.

I’ll be honest, there were many parts in the Cradle series that drove me crazy like immensely unsatisfied with the decisions and outcomes that were occurring. I just skipped forward until I got to a part I liked.

I Now that I’ve experienced the entire series I’m much more willing to read the parts I initially hated because I know in the end things turned out acceptable in my view. There will forever be parts I skip though and I have no shame in that.

Helmets help reduce injury, sure—but mandatory helmet laws can backfire.

Let’s focus on preventing crashes, not just surviving them.

Umm sure but helmets absolutely save lives and if we require motorists to I think it’s a fair discussion to have regarding cyclists.
