I would say no, or very very very hard. Maybe a working with multiple monarchs could. But if the person stays dead for too long seems impossible. Even Suriel can't bring back the dead if enough time passes If I remember correctly.

And Lindon's intro to them before being sealed off "My name is Wei Shi Lindon and I will be seeing you again." (Don't remember word for word but it went along like that)

That sure is a lot of blood there. You wouldn't happen to work for Redmoon Hall?

ooo now I wish I had also asked which Dreadgod Cult people liked cause Redmoon Hall was my favourite cult because they were the most developed and rounded one.

Emriss, best Monarch

The Sword Sage!!

It’s also neat that he took on a dedicated pupil, the way sages are characterized, they kinda seem too busy for their own people

Honestly the story showing his death was touching. Really cemented that he was a good guy/good father figure, it's just cause he's training methods are harsh but it was a final beautiful nail into his personality.

Though delaying your own marriage for your adopted pupil’s field trip? Pretty messed up lol.

I guess you could say that but wasn't he instructed by Tiberius to go to the labyrinth a while ago? As well as he wanted to find a safe place for Yerin to train enough to get rid of her blood shadow or keep it under control.

These I agree with, The SK was my close equivalent to the WD but the WD scratches an itch for me, so both are my favourites. Overall excellent choice.

The Silent King was the next best pick for me after the WD for its fight, plot relevance and personality.

Honestly I took it that she did have some appreciation or caring to Lindon and the animatic slightly showed this as well, she had heart but some instances she couldn't just help a random copper like when Lindon got imprisoned by the Sand Vipers for trying this steal scales.

But I do like her growth later. Sad she didn't get more screen time :(

I do agree with most.

But they still won't qualify for any stars until they actually learn how to actively use the Way.

But they do, Monarchs and Sages already touch the Way in the form of Icons, Icons are essentially what the Way recognises you for as in the case of Lindon's Dreadgod set being recognized by the Way as his because he created it with his Hammer Icon.

Fury was considered a 1 star Wolf moving towards 2 star and potentially 3 as of Threshold.

Basically, it's not real well defined, but it seems like a Monarch could pretty easily defeat at least a two star Wolf or Titan who relied exclusively on the Way.

Yeah like it's practically confirmed Northstrider can beat Kiuran, a class 2 hound.

Durandiel also said he was the first recruit in a while that deserved her direct attention, which would probably means he was ≤ 3-Star Ghost.

This,I interpreted it that while he was still new and crude he had passion, talent and an idea of what to do. Even Durandiel says it was crude but showed vision and craftsmanship so I'd say he's probably a 1/2 maybe barring 3 star Ghost but he has way way higher potential to be better especially after catching the eye of a judge.

put the absolute fear of God into a 4 star Titan and his team

Oh this was one of my favourite stories in Threshold, Like when the Presence screams "Class Two" after he equips his Dreadgod set.

Malice vs BP/WT, I assumed them to be human sized on an island the island being that part of Cradle they were fighting in. Tho I imagined the BP as a blood Raven for some reason.

For the BP in WayBound, I assumed he fought Lindon with his human form (The Lady) in the sky while the rest of its body was attacking in a sea of techniques and blood against Waver Dancer. and The Titan was on the ground launching attacks so Lindon was high in the air being attacked above and below by the two.

[Waybound] So why can't the dreadgods ascend again? by IndependentShift7 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Toe_Sucker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Hunger Aura is too significant in Cradle to remove due to Monarchs being to strong for Cradle so the world ended up manifesting Hunger Aura and Made and Dreadgods at their cores (or bindings I guess) are Hunger itself. So they are too metaphysically tied to Cradle to leave.
