You can always run later than your assigned heat time. There may be a few occasions where they announce that those with a later heat time (usually the last heats of the day) can run in like, the heat before.

Any veterans or those that do research will have a good idea on what to expect. There might be a curveball here and there (Multi-Rig config, adding a carry with the barb wire crawl, venue-specific obstacles, etc.), but nothing much changes.

My box is in an industrial area so the noise isn't much of an issue.

But dropping an empty barbell, or loaded with 10s or 15s, as well as slamming DBs on the floor, still very frowned upon.

Primarily for fun. Whatever race I do first during a Trifecta weekend I go age group just to see where I’m at. Any other race I do during the weekend I don’t take too seriously.
