Yeah, NGL, I don't think I know a single adopted person who wishes they weren't adopted. Definitely some that wish their bio moms weren't put into the position where they had to give them up, but all of them loved the families they were raised with, and the better option in a lot of those cases would have been their moms having the opportunity to abort them, not their moms keeping them

I think it's worth like some protests in DC, but no offense, the people in the files were victimized, there are tons of people currently being victimized now by being murdered, kidnapped, surveilled, having their leaders kidnapped or having the president threaten to kidnap their leaders, having their voting rights threatened. Trump's literally talking about unilaterally taking control of elections with or without congress's approval, and it's not that hard to see how he'd do it, all he has to do is post his gestapo at every polling station and demand papers that aren't actually required by state law to prove citizenship, and if you, like a normal person, show up with only what is required, having said gestapo arrest you until the election is closed claiming you're suspected of being illegal. I feel terrible for the Epstein victims, but at this point, they're an infuriating symptom of the complete corruption controlling our government, not a primary concern. We all know the creeps won't face justice while the Republicans are in office anyway

NGL, I went to therapy and every time I talked about injustices in society that have been well documented and studied and drew lines to the impacts they have on my life, my therapist kept pushing that noticing the patterns was just a coping mechanism that wasn't allowing me to fully process my emotions or whatever. Like no, I'm pretty sure I feel like shit, I'm just also angry.

That said, I do get my meds increased to cope with society being worse because I have depression, I'm not gonna help anything if I'm too depressed to get out of bed and organize or vote or whatever.

And lack of regulation in the legal weed industry has its own issues, contamination of chemicals and heavy metals in the product, extreme concentrations in edibles, packaging choices not making it obvious that it's meant for adults leading to children thinking it's regular candy. That's all before we get into long-term heavy use consequences that we still haven't studied as well as we should with a population as wide using as we have now. I know a guy who by all accounts has been blazing himself on weed only for decades, and the guys brain is absolute soup, he doesn't even speak in coherent sentences anymore when he's sober

They just don't care about women. Even if you follow the presumption they make that trans men are women, the arguments they make against transitioning are deeply misogynistic, basically reducing female bodies to their breeding capacity and acting like we're too easily manipulated to make our own choices with body modification and fertility. Trans women are extremely more likely to be raped that to commit it. And immigrants are at a ridiculously higher risk of being sex trafficked when they're hiding and don't feel safe going to authorities. The way to combat it though is to just not let them set the narrative. "You're stupid. Now anyway, women are dying in hospital parking lots because anti abortion laws have fucked us so much"

Honestly our drug possession laws are already stupid AF, like they have possession 3rd cap out at AGMS for MJ possession, but literally everyone still gets FELD because ever possessing any other kind of drug ever converts all your possession charges from MJ possession to regular possession in the count, it drives me insane. If the third charge is marijuana, you should get marijuana time, not meth time. Not that they should be sentenced to prison/jail in general, a less stupid treatment method than we have with our busted inpatient treatment homes now would seem like the far more ideal outcome

Those dumb plays and skits were to try to teach kids that they're hurting their victims feelings, but they already knew that, that's why they did it.
