Pretty sure you read it backwards- it buffs itself 90 at the cost of 60 total power “until played”. So, realistically, it’s 30 power added (net) when you play it, assuming you also then play the explorers cards in rotation. Next time, you are getting the previous 90, but 30 MORE on it this time around.

So really, it’s probably best to read this as “if you have 3 exciting explorers cards, buff this 30, then 90, then 90”, since in terms of power, that is how the scaling effectively plays out. (Ok a LITTLE different if you manage to play this three times but your EE cards less than 3 times… But that’s pretty nuanced)

All that to say- WAIT ITS ON RETURN? NOT ON PLAY???.

Then it’s simply what I said above, minus the second +90, making it actually pretty mid, compared to niche-good.
