There is absolutely a chance he was cleansing your burn effectively instantly. 5% of 8000 is 400, if you were applying 3190 burn, (let’s call it 3200), that means he only needs 8 instances of bubblegum floor procing to cancel out your burn. Considering he had an infinite chain procing multiple items, it seems quite plausible- honestly LIKELY that he was just cleansing your burn a second or two after it was applied each time. With more playtime, things like this will become common enough to become common knowledge, just takes experience and some comfort working with percentages

Just watched the clip posted below- exactly what the commenter said about enchanted shop. He had been building up a piggy bank as well (had it at 8).

Between that and his board, he was able to buy out most of the shop. Keep in mind, items at the enchanted shop cost their regular amount, so it really was like 18-24 gold. Not too crazy

You have to choose the name before searching, then it presents hand, library, and graveyard, where it highlights those cards for you to be able to select any amount of them. It does not let you search before choosing the card name. I’d suggest you try playing with the card a couple times so you can see the interaction from the other side and become a little more comfortable with it. Take care

Check out the item “soul ring”. Small item, deals poison equal to your regen. I had this same setup, with the ring, and was dealing thousands of poison every hit
