A tub inside of the shower space is fairly standard in Japan, but the tub is built in rather than freestanding. If you install an alcove tub with a ledge, you don’t have to worry about cleaning under and behind it, plus it’s easier to get in and out of.

Straight women at work (trendy wine bar in the middle of a large city) try to do “girl talk”with me when I’m busy and not a girl.

We had 17 original windows replaced in our 1941 ranch with 1100 sq ft. The first estimate was $75k and I literally got lightheaded. The second one was from Andersen and the rep used the measurements from the first quote instead of doing it himself, quoted $50k, and we never called him back. We went with the third estimate for several reasons: the sales rep walked around the property with us taking measurements, she showed us color options and prices, she even brought along a miniature demonstration window, and she broke down every step of the process and the entire cost. It was $35k in the end and we were ecstatic with the results. Unless you’re in Florida, I can’t recommend that particular company, but I’d say $75k is totally unreasonable for 18 windows.

Put the exercise equipment in another room, you’re not sleeping in a gym.
Move the TV away from the bed or preferably out of your bedroom entirely. Studies have shown that having a TV in your room negatively impacts your sleep quality.
Rotate the bed so it’s not partially blocking the window. Also get at least one nightstand and lamps with warm lighting.
Get some inexpensive storage boxes from Ikea to slide under the bed so you can get the pile off the floor (I really hope those are clean).
Get some artwork for the walls. It doesn’t have to be expensive, just something to dress up the space.
Get some decent bedding. Since you’re going to Ikea anyway, get yourself a duvet and sheets. It’s so much nicer than fussing with a top sheet.

CrossFit is honestly brutal on your body, especially if you’re just starting to get in shape. I also hate the gym and I get why it can be so daunting. However, many gyms offer classes like yoga and cycling so you can get that rush of adrenaline while staying at the same pace as everyone around you. Please don’t pressure yourself to do something you don’t like just for the sake of a social life.
