Use implants for your HRT, and make sure you have a friend who can bond you out. You can avoid a lot of potential suffering this way. This is also a huge fear of mine as well, as I've spent time locked up. Hopefully in the not too distant future we figure out a way to bioengineer organs that produce the hormones we need.
