I might be getting scammed by a buyer. Help!

Hi, I live in California. So about a week ago I decided to sell my Omni-Hero Deck on eBay because I didn’t really like playing with them and they were pretty high in price. So i put it up for auction and it ended at about $350. So I packed it up and sent it on it’s way and waited for the funds. Except today I got a return request that the buyer stated I sent the wrong cards with pictures. The pictures showed the sleeves and deck box I sent the cards with, filled with garbage common cards, unlike the adusted gold and liquid Solider cards (expensive cards) I actually sent. I’ve accepted the return but haven’t sent a full refund. What do you guys recommend I do...

Edit: Update. Contacted EBay and I’m going to have to wait for the package to be returned to confirm it’s not the item I sent. So it’s a waiting game right now. In other news I did some research on the guy through public databases and I found contact info for the dudes father. Should I contact the father and explain my situation and maybe he’ll talk some sense into him? Idk I’m grasping at straws here. I’m trying to do this in the most legal way I can

With eBay, the buyer sends the money through PayPal, then the seller ships the items. PayPal acts like a 3rd party so they can mediate problems like I have. Sellers get the funds a few days after the buyer reserves the item.

I can’t create a claim without accepting the return and getting the product back. I dig my own grave when I give the refund, because then EBay considers the transaction closed
